A Lifetime of Development
With over 25 years of experience working in and developing her skills as a bespoke therapist. Jean has evolved her skillset and training over time in response to client needs; both in physical healing and in emotional healing from developmental traumas by marrying psychotherapy with attachment and healing touch. My continuous professional development has included completion of educational programmes including a Master of Science in Gestalt Psychotherapy through Gestalt Institute of Ireland in partnership with Carlow Institute of Technology, Ireland, Clinical Supervision Training through Gestalt Institute of Ireland and Transforming Touch Practitioner training through Austin Attachment, Texas, USA.
Mission Statement
As a Gestalt psychotherapist and Transforming Touch therapist, I offer a space rooted in authenticity, presence, and compassion. I meet each moment with openness, without judgment or attachment to outcome, trusting deeply in the healing potential of the here and now.
All parts of my clients are welcome. I honour each individual’s pace, process, and inner wisdom—believing that the somatic body will heal what is most needed at any given time through the integration of Gestalt psychotherapy and non-invasive touch. This healing journey often stirs discomfort, requiring time, commitment, trust, and a willingness to embrace the uneasiness that comes with change. Change is inevitable, and with it comes disruption to what is familiar. But through this, transformation becomes possible.
I trust in my ability, just as I trust that others are doing their best. I hold my values—honesty, kindness, trustworthiness, patience, and openness—as sacred. I am organised, reliable, and grounded in the belief that being good enough is enough. I keep things simple, allowing space for what truly matters to emerge.
I remain open to being seen for who I am and for what I offer, so that those who are seeking this work can find their way to me. This is an invitation to heal old wounds, to be witnessed with care, and to rediscover wholeness—one present moment at a time.
