I opened Pure Bliss Ennis on Friday 22nd 2002, providing Elemis Facials and Massage Treatments. In 2010 I qualified as a Gestalt Psychotherapist with the Gestalt Institute of Ireland, then in 2020 I earned my Masters of Arts in Gestalt Psychotherapy. Wanting to know more I continued with my studies and received a certificate in Clinical Supervision in 2022. Clinical Supervision is a requirement for every Psychotherapist to achieve accreditation with an Irish Governing body that over see Ethical Standards, I am associated with, Irish Association of Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP). My job as a Supervisor is to support other Therapist or professionals in the caring therapeutic line of work. A Supervisor is responsible for the best interest of the client. Supporting the Therapist to provide the best therapeutic support possible for the clients they see. I have always wanted to combine my 'Hands on' and 'Touch' skills, Massage and  Reiki into my psychotherapy work. In 2023 I qualified as a Transforming Touch Practitioner after 2 years training with Dr. Steven Terrell who created this incredibly powerful treatment. Designed to help those with Developmental Trauma and Nervous System regulation.  Transforming Touch is a Co Regulating Touch Treatment that can benefit everybody.

Common manifestations include poor emotional regulation, difficulties with attachment, low self-esteem, intense anger, acting out, dissociation, and behavioral challenges.

What are the long term effects?

When not treated, these experiences can lead to adult mental health struggles, including anxiety, depression, addition, and complex PTSD.
